Karen Hern is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in California. She is dedicated to helping small and mid-size businesses meet their accounting and tax needs while navigating through the ever changing economic business environment. Karen has over 20 years of experience working with clients in diverse industries including manufacturing, medical, engineering, professional service, day care, real estate, retail and wholesale.
Karen’s experience includes providing accounting, consulting and advisory services, as well as assurance and tax services. Karen’s focus is on helping clients achieve both business and financial success by helping them establish practical financial and operational processes to meet each client’s unique objectives and goals.
Karen is also highly experienced in accounting software implementation. She provides training, installation, setup and support for many popular small business software programs.
In addition to owning her own business, Karen actively participates in her community. She currently serves as Auditor for an elementary school and middle school parent group, Board Member with Alpha Xi Delta Corporate Board and Treasurer for her networking group. Karen recently reviewed a textbook for Wileyand continues to teach both financial and managerial accounting at a local community college.
Karen enjoys spending time with her husband and children. She also enjoys practicing Tae Kwon Do and is currently preparing for her 2nd degree black belt test and instructor certification.
